We currently have some plots available so if you are thinking about having an allotment in Rye now is the time to apply!
December 2014 - Rents for 2015
We are pleased to announce that we have been able to reduce the allotment rental fees for 2015.
The pricing structure we inherited from Rother District Council last December was £85.00 per annum for a large plot and £45.00 per annum for a small plot. Now that we have been running both allotment sites in Rye for a full year, we have been able to make some small savings, which has allowed us to bring the rents down for the forthcoming year. The net result is that reductions of just over 5% have been reflected in the invoices recently sent out for 2015. While we accept that this is only a small saving we hope that plot holders will appreciate the gesture nonetheless, given that we currently live in a world where costs only ever seem to rise! For 2015 a large plot will cost £80.61 and a small plot £42.69.

Water supply has now been restored to the South Undercliff allotments.
10 April 2014
We are acutely aware of the fact that the water supply has not been re-instated for the South Undercliff allotments site. This has been caused by the need to totally replace the stop-cock at the site, which will require some of the water supply to local residences to be turned off. We are working with Rother District Council and other interested parties to get the supply restored as soon as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience.
There are still three plots available for rent on the Love Lane site. If you or anyone you know may be interested in renting one of these, please just let us know.

Therefore, existing tenants whose tenancy will trnasfer from Rother to us on 1 December will receive their first invoice from us for payment on 1 April 2014, which will cover rental up to and including 31 December 2014.
